Michi Saagig Territory

In my experience, this territory, is a vibrant beautiful place with talented, kind and authentic people. I moved here over 17 yrs ago with my son and have had the honour to and privilege to continue to work, live and learn here. As identified, my family taught me to honour where I am - the people, the land and the Knowledge, always.

In doing so, I honour not only the Michi Saagig people, also my family, my Teachers, my land and all those before and ahead of me.

Please take the time to read their words and acknowledge all that this territory, historically and contemporarily has to offer!
A Vibrant, Beautiful and Diverse Place!
This land is rich with Knowledge....

There are historical, contemporary and ongoing processes and negotiations, each unique and distinctive.
